Getting Started with Your Trezor Device

What’s in the Box

When you receive your Trezor package, it should include the following items:

  • Trezor device

  • USB cable

  • Recovery seed card

  • Instruction manual

  • Stickers

If any of these items are missing, please contact Trezor support immediately.

Setting Up Your Trezor

  1. Connect Your Trezor Device: Use the provided USB cable to connect your Trezor device to your computer.

  2. Visit Trezor.io/Start: Open your web browser and go to Trezor.io/Start. This page will guide you through the setup process.

  3. Install Trezor Bridge: Follow the instructions to download and install Trezor Bridge, the software that allows your computer to communicate with the Trezor device.

  4. Initialize Your Device: Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize your device. You will be prompted to create a new wallet or recover an existing one.

Creating a New Wallet

  1. Generate Recovery Seed: During the setup, your Trezor will generate a 24-word recovery seed. Write this down on the provided recovery seed card and keep it in a safe place. Do not share this seed with anyone.

  2. Confirm Recovery Seed: You will be asked to confirm your recovery seed to ensure you have written it down correctly.

  3. Set PIN: Choose a secure PIN for your device. This adds an additional layer of security to your Trezor.

Using Your Trezor

  1. Access Your Wallet: Once your device is set up, you can access your wallet through the Trezor web interface at Trezor Wallet.

  2. Send and Receive Cryptocurrencies: Use the interface to send and receive various cryptocurrencies. Your Trezor will prompt you to confirm transactions on the device screen for added security.

  3. Manage Your Assets: Use the Trezor web interface to manage your digital assets, view transaction history, and more.
